House

The house remained in the Ripy family until 1965.  The principle owners of the time afterwards being the Gilbert Family who were fine stewards of the property even going so far as to register the house on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Sadly after the Gilbert family sold the home it fell into disrepair and eventually into foreclosure.

The house went up for auction in 2010.  At the auction, three of T.B. Ripy's great-grand children, the sole bidders, bought the home in the hopes of saving it and its rich history.
