Bourbon Sessions at the Ripy Mansion is pleased to welcome back Kaveh Zamanian as he shares the legacy of Mary Dowling.

Kaveh Zamanian is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst turned master whiskey maker. He fell in love with a Kentucy girl, moved to Louisville, and decided to take a leap with her down the rabbit hole of Bourbon, following his long-standing passion for fine spirits.

He is founder of Rabbit Hole and Mary Dowling Whiskey Companies and serves as the Chief Whiskey Officer for Pernod-Ricard, the second largest spirit company in the world.

In recognition of his achievements, in 2022, he was inducted into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame, cementing his place among industry pioneers and visionaries.

He resides with his wife (Kentucky girl) and children in Louisville, Kentucky.

Kaveh will lead us on a guided tasting of Mary Dowling whiskey. He will also share the legacy behind Mary Dowling and the newly released book, Mother of Bourbon, The Greatest American Whiskey Story Never Told.

Bourbon tasting accompanied by light appetizers. Tours of the Historic T.B. Ripy House and cash bar will also be available.
